I feel horrible for saying things like this, but I hope we get some fires.
And soon.
It's ridiculous that a lot of people's incomes rely completely and totally on a busy fire season. My husband works as a wildland fire fighter and we have a hard time making ends meet until fire season rolls around. We rely on those large checks in between May and September to pay of the bills we've accumulated in the winter.
I don't make enough to really make much of a difference when it comes to money. My small amount of money gets me through month to month, but any extra expenses are a no-no. Which means no trips out to see my lovely niece, no extra driving, no outdoor furniture to enjoy the nice weather. I can't even go garage saling right now.
Le sigh. Let's hope a resource order gets in here pretty quick.
Anyone need a Type 2 Incident Management Team?
